Frank has been an exceptional tutor for my daughter in 8th grade. This year has been particularly difficult for her and I’ve recently learned, the majority of the class, due to a less than stellar teacher unfortunately and Frank is keeping her on track and ready to move to 9th grade math. For students that struggle with the subject, he is patient and explains things in their “language” making it easier to learn. I will continue to partner with Frank for my daughter’s math education into the summer and I am sure she will meet the 9th grade curriculum with the foundation and confidence required to excel. I’ve been taking Chinese lessons remotely (from Charlotte) for about half a year now and it’s been a great experience. Apex tutoring has helped me prepare for my trip to China, shared a lot of advice and provides me with custom weekly lessons based on what I want to learn about and is extremely flexible. The tutor is familiar with teaching all skill levels and is very patient and reasonably priced.

Mr. Kelly has been an outstanding tutor for our son in high school. He struggled with common core math and his grades reflected it. Mr. Kelly has helped his grades and understanding of what’s being asked of him immensely. He was borderline failing math and now he has a solid B!

My son, David has been with Apex Tutor Studio in order to learn the Chinese language. From our own experience, I can say, without any doubt, that Ms. Vicky is a very good teacher. She knows how to deal with students: Chinese is one of the most difficult foreign languages for English-speaking people (as their mother tongue). She has a good skill in connecting between the two different languages. In fact, she has a good reputation as a Chinese instructor in the Chinese community of the Triangle area, as far as I know. Moreover, many of her students are from Chinese families, and so her class is a “little China”, which is also a bonus for you (or your kids) to get to know the Chinese culture. I highly recommend Vicky as a Chinese tutor! She makes every lesson fun and engaging, and I look forward to my weekly lessons with her. Our lesson topics range from Chinese culture, history, movies, and current events.

Great Chinese teacher. My first language is English, and she helped me to speak, write, and read Chinese, supposedly one of the hardest languages to learn. She would explain everything thoroughly and help me better understand topics. I highly recommend learning Chinese from her.
